Aug. 08, 1969 - Girl With The Loveliest Legs In Britain: 20-year old Lynda Goldstraw, of Quinton, Birmingham, last night became the girl with the million dollar legs - when she won the Lady Cantrece competition to find the girl with the loveliest legs in Britain, organised by Du Pont, the nylon firm. Lynda, whose legs have been insured for a million dollars, won prize worth of3000. The Final was held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London.
