Mine Ashley, of Clarendon Road, Notting Hill, London, is 34. Mr. Corbett claime the Gibraltar ceremony is void because in spite of an operation in 1960 Mies Ashley was still then of the male sex. Alternatively he seeks a decree of nullity on the grounds of wilful refusal to consummate the marriage. Mien Ashley olaime that she was and still in female.
