Dec. 18, 1969 - Expo 70 hostess uniform. The uniform to be worn by hostesses in the British pavilion at Expo 70 which opens at Osaka Japan in March, has now been chosen, It was modelled for the benefit of the press in London today by Miss Lydia V. Parray, 20, one of the British hostesses, which is a student at Sheffield University's Centre of K Japanese and sociology. She lives at Greenlands Shaw hill, The short-sleeved knitted polyester dress in turquoise stripped in white is machine washable, and there is also a sleeveless style in white wih turquoise stripes. The shoulder bag is of white Vistram with a large self-buckle. White nylon stretch gloves complete the ensemble. Photo shows Sheffield University student, Miss Lydia V.
