National introduces new stewardess uniform.: Tigerskin coats and hats make their in=flight debut when Florida-based National Airlines introduce a new air stewardess uniform on the non-stop daily jet service arriving in London from Miami on March 19. The uniforms that purr will be worn by all National's 1, 000 stewardess o its 42-city system from March 18. The new ensemble which features a choice of interchangeable designs including three hats, was shown in London today by three National air stewardesses from the South - Jante Heinz, Wisty Nixon and Cynthia Robertson. The uniform has been evolved from a list of design features suggested by National stewardess themselves. The topcoat is of simulated tigerskin with a full-notched collar, six double rows of buttons in front and a half-belt on the back.
