Aug. 22, 1971 - Pregnant Beauties Compete for the Title of Mother-To-Be of the Year': Mother-To-Be of the Year is the unique title for which eleven finalists competed at the imperial Hotel, London, Sponsored by Young Motherhood, the maternity fashion group the competition was won by the beauty experts to beat illustrate the theme of the competition that Pregnant is Beautiful'. The judges were looking not only for a pretty face, but for the mental and physical approach to pregnancy which allows the whole period to be enjoyed as one of the most rewarding and beautiful experiences of a woman's life. Finalists were selected fromntrants throughout the country.
