Jun. 06, 1974 - The Mame Look comes to London.: That many Aunt Mame, played by Lucille Ball in the New Films Musical, opens on June 27th in three West End Cinemas. To herald the opening, Warner Bros, presented the Mame Look at a Fashion Show at the National Film Theater, South Bank, London, today. The Fashions in the film which have inspired the Look were created by Theadora Van Runkle, the Hollywood Designer. Photo Shows A white/silver glitter Jersey evening gown with sequin trimmed long bodies and box pleated skirt from low hipline narrow shoulder straps. Worn with a white sequin cloche trimmed with sparkling pink rose, one of the collection shown today. Lucille ball wears a similar gown in the film Musical Mame
