Jun. 11, 1975 - Mary Quant sunglasses For 1975 On Display. The 1975 range of sunglasses for UK optical and Industrial Holdings was featured at a financial press conference this morning. The collection was displayed by 21 year old model Jago. At the conference in The Press Club, London U.K. optical announced a record-pre-tax profit of2, 63m for the year to March 1975 - a rise of 21%. UK optical is Europe's biggest manufacturer of ophthalmic lenses and a leading supplier of spectacle frames.
