Nov. 11, 1974 - Miss Worlds quits and Miss South Africa accepts the title.: Helen Morgan, Miss World for four days, has quit the title for sake of her baby son. Her resignation was finally accepted by Mecca organiser, Mrs Julia Morley. later Miss South Africa, (Anneline Kriel), the runner-up in the Miss World contest, was asked to take over the title, and ready accepted.
