Beauty queen, Miss Ghana

Apr 4, 1957 - London, England, United Kingdom - First ever Miss Ghana, MONICA AMEKOFIA, who won a visit to Britain when she became Miss Ghana during the recent celebrations in the new West African country, arrived at London Airport today. She is a member of the Ewe Tribe, is 22 and comes from Southern Togoland. During her 12 day stay in Britain she will visit London, Birmingham and Welwyn Garden City among other places.
