Dec. 12, 1966 - In Napoleon's footsteps.: Mr. Norbert Brassinne, 60, of Waterloo, Belgium, and delegate of the International Committee of the Commemoration of Napoleon, and wearing the uniform of a grenadier of Napoleon's royal guard, made a pilgrimage to Austerlitz, near Brno, Czechoslovakia, to attend the 161st. anniversary of the Three Emperor Battle, where he told the crowd that his pilgrimage from Waterloo to Austerlitz was a symbol of the world's longing for peace. Then he set free 13 pigeons from a cage as a symbol of peace, after which he went to the Monument of the Three Emperor Battle, for the Cairn of Peace where he commemorated the soldiers who fell there in the battle where Napoleon, Czar Alexander and Emperor Franz II of Hapsburg fought in 1805. Mr. Brassinne reached his Three Emperor battle - and headed grain grown at the Waterloo battlefield to representatives of the State farm at Slavkov (Australitz) and symbolically also sowed part of the grain from Waterloo in fields at Australitz as a symbol of friendship among nations. Photo shows Mr. Norbert Brassinne seen sowing grain frown at the battlefield of Waterloo in fields in the neighbourhood of Austerlitz
