Jun. 06, 1971 - Belgian defence Minister visits London to purchase Scorpion combat vehicles: M. Paul Segers, the Belgian Defence Minister, is in London to sign a contract with Alvis Ltd. for the purchase of Scorpion combat vehicles. The contract is a further stage in Angle-Belgian cooperation in the development and production of the new CVR(T) series of combat reconnaissance vehicles for both countries and in world wide sales.
