Oct. 10, 1962 - London Sees The Festival of Misfits The Festival of Misfits, the first exhibition in Britain of a crazy avant-garde art movement which has swept America, France and Germany, opened at Gallery One, Mayfair. Its nine exponents in this exhibition, a group of cosmopolitan all-sorts, believe that art must be participated in to be appreciated.
