Sep. 09, 1961 - EARL RUSSELL AND HIS WIFE APPEAR AT BOW STREET COURT TO ANSWER SUMMONSES. EARL RUSSELL, president of the Committee of 100, the civil disobedienoe group of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, and his wife were summoned to appear at Bow Street Court this morning. The summonses allege incitement of members of the public to commit a breach of the peace next Sunday in a sit-down demonstration.
