Feb. 02, 1953 - Arcbishop of Canterbury entertains Patriach of the Aslyrians to Lunch: The Archbishop of Canterbury this afternoon entertained the Patriarch of the Assyrians Eshai Marshimun to lunch at St. Ermina Hotel. The Patriarch is in London get assistance from the Archbishop in order to get jobs for ten members of his family (five sisters and five cousins). He has just come from Cys where he has 17 relatives, all shortly coming to live in Britain they are his Mother and father, five sisters and two brothers and five girl and three male cousins. All the girls are unmarried and mostly want shorthand-typing jobs. He says This is the first time my family have had to work for a liver form more than 1, 000 years'.
