Many people lost their lives when a Hurricane - with 115 mph winds struck the Haiti coastal town of Jeremie (70, 000 population) recently. houses were swept into the sea - wreckage and rubble blocked the streets and the waterfront for its whole length was a shambles of smashed boats and debris.
