1956 - Ancient Religious procession held in Italian village to observe good Friday: Each year in Valmontone, a little village about 40 miles from Rome, a religious procession takes place in observance of Good Friday, It is on that day that perhaps the barber, the housewife, the baker, or postman all takes part in the annual procession, re creating the part of Christ carrying his cross, the Virgin Mary, Judas and others at the last supper, are portrayed by the people of the village.
