Jul. 07, 1958 - Bogus Bishops Gatecrash Lambeth conference reception. Members of league of Empire Loyalists: Two students this afternoon disguised themselves as visiting Bishops and gatecrashed the Lambeth Palace reception held prior to opening of the Lambeth Conference. They were members of the League of Empire Loyalists and lodged a protest against Archbishop Makarios visiting this country.
