1959 - First Session Of Transitional Committee In Cyprus: The first session of the Transitional Committee attended by all proposed Ministers of the Cabinet, took place this morning in Nicosia, Cyprus. Archbishop Makarios, Dr. Kutchuk, the leader of the Turkish Cypriete were present, and Sir Hugh Foot announced formal acceptance of the submitted ministers. The ex-Public Information Office in Nicosia is now being used as H. of the new Cabinet.
