Dec. 20 The Intricate Art of Putting Ships in Bottles 74-year-old pensioner Josef Nohavec, of Ilzen, West Bohemia, was never a sailor, but a worker in the Skoda factory at Ilzen- and only dreamt about those brave men who for centuries fought the sea-storms, which perhaps explains why his hobby is bodel ship-making. His ships never set sail, but make nice decorations for his home, and some find their way into bottles. Josef Nohavec, with many of his ship model-many of which he puts into bottles
