Dec. 15 Baptists churches join congregationalists: New York - Two Baptist Churches were received into the New York City Congregational Church Association during a Recognition Service at Broadway Tabernacle Church here. In this photo, Dr. Robert J McCracken, Minister of Riverside Church, one of the churches inducted, (right), is congratulated, following the service, by Dr. Alfred Grant Walton, Minister of the Flatbush Tompkins Congregational Church, Brooklyn, N.Y. and chairman of the Committee on credentials of the N.Y.C. Congregational Church Association. Looking on is Dr. Albert J. Penner, Minister of Broadway Tabernacle Church. The second church received into the Congregational Group was the Judson Memorial Church, of which the Rev. Robert W. Spike is Minister. Dr. McCracken and Dr. Spike are now recognized as Congregation Al Clergymen, while retaining their present Baptist Ministerial standing
