In the Church of Ara Coeli in Rome since ancient times a miracoulous statue of the Enfant Jesus carved in wood of Bethlehem olive tree, is kept in an precious shrine. Following the legend the statue was venereced by the Romans in the Middle Ages, when one day it was stolen by a neighboring town, who wanted to have the prodigious statue. One day the keeper friar of Ara Coeli convent heard knocking at the door. He opened and saw the Infant Jesus who asked to enter the convent. He wanted to stay with the Romans. Since then the Infant Jesus is kept in the church of Ara Coeli and the Francescan friars take care of Him. In the morning when the friars get up He is brought in the church and visited by people. At midday a friar take Him in the convent dining- hall where all the friars have lunch. He goes back to the chapel till the Ave Maria'. At night He returns to sleep in the convent with the friars
