Mechanically minded nuns; Nuns are generally happy people, their lives flowing smoothly and peacefully, and the nuns of Ladywell Convent, Godalming, Surrey are no exception. Perhaps these Frenciacan nuns do not conform to the conventions; image of the nun in so far as they are mechanically minded to a degree they may be the envy of many a lay person. The nuns at Ladywell Convent do not believe in dreaming their lives away, they likek to be active. In fact they are great builders; they built their own printing works, their own farm with dairy, barns and piggeries.
