Mar. 31 Preview of the visit of the Pope in West Germany from November 15th. - 19th. 1980: Pope John Paul II, can be seen..here, in front of the famous Rhine-side-scene of Cologne. Certainly only a placard of the tourist office of the cathedral- town. The Photo-mounting, which shows the Holy Faither sitting in a seat and smiling roguishly, was printed in great number for the welcome of the Pope and can also be bought as a memorial poster. Pope John Paul II, will come to Cologne on November 15th. That's the first station of his journey through West Germany, on which he'll also visit the towns: Osnabruck, Mainz, Fulda, Altotting and Munich
