Mar. 31 November 15th. - 19th. 1980: Visit of Pope John Paul II in West Germany: At his last visit in Munich...two years ago, the Polish Cardinal Karol Wojtyla was welcomed with flowers (our picture) - when he'll come again a few days as Pope John Paul II. the welcome will certainly be more stormy. Some hundred thousands of people will be there at the devine service, which will be hold off on the Theresienwiese in Munich on ovember 19th. by the holy father - and like here at his last station of his journey the Pope will already have moved the masses of the faithful in Cologne and Osnabruck, Mainz, Fulda and Altotting. Round 20million D-Mark (nearly 10 million Dollars) the catholic Church of Germany has to pay for this visit
