Apr. 17 Don Giovanni Franzoni, abbot of the St. Paul Basilica in Rome, has received by the Vatican authorities an ultimatum that impose him to leave his high office in five days as the abbot criticized some decision of the Holy See and because he is discording about the Concordat between the Italian State and the Holy See. The abbot refuses to leave his office and he is circled by a comune, a group of his parishioners that have occupied the Abbey well resoluted to do not give in.
