The faith of father Pio: In a tiny village in the southern Italy is a poor Friar who is believed by the villagers to be a saint and according to those who have visited him, he has performed several extraordinary miracles. The village has been called another Lourdes and its proper name is San Giovanni Rotondo. The friar is Father Pio da Pietreloina. He was 73 recently and word is spreading in the district that he is performing more and more miracles. Pilgrimages are being organized and there is a waiting list of thousands spread over months for confession. Since his word has spread the friar has requested modern hospitals, a new marble church and shops and new buildings to replace the old ones. And there he has got from the government.
