Mar. 17, 1963 - This morning in the Russian Church on rue Darue in Paris, a hero of the Resistance effort, 60 year-old, Prince Nicolas Obolenski was ordained an orthodox priest. He is pictured kneeling during the ceremony. A former member of the military, Obolenski decided to become a priest after learning that his wife, Princess Vera Obolenski, had been shot and killed by Nazis on August 4th 1944.
