Dec. 12, 1960 - Don Carlo - Italian Parish Priest Prepares To Leave And His Parishioners Don't Like It: Don Carlo Tarcisio Riva 48 year old padre - and though for of the communists at Sesto Ulteriano in Northern Italy is now packing his goods preparing to leave - but his parishioners do not want him to leave - in fact they are holding a Worship strike - and refuse to attend mass head by the new strike - and refuse to attend mass head by the new priest sent by the Bishop. Don Carlo is a local hero. The local communists were getting unbearable until one day Don Carlo walked down the street - rapped on the door of the chief communist - who then threw Don Carlo to the ground. Don Carlo took off his coat and battled with the Communist - until the latter was knocked out. Because of a smuggling accusation - Don Carlo has to leave the area - but he will not leave if the local people have their way.
