Oct. 18, 1964 - 18.10.64 Enshrinement of Buddhist relic The enshrinement of a Holy Relic of the Buddha, a small piece of bone, brought to London by Mrs. Bandaranaike, the Ceylon Prime Minsiter took place yesterday at the London Buddhist Vihara, Chiswick. The relic in a golden casket was carried on a special float in procession to the Vihara in Heathfield Gardens, Chiswick following a public meeting at Chiswick Town Hall.
