No Pope has been in a train in a century since Pope Pius IX went to Velleteri, south of Rome to inaugurate a new railway station. Pope John XXIII will pray today over the Saint Francesco of Assisi for the success of the Council. Opening October 11. Italian President Segni and Italian Prime Minister Fanfani will be waiting for His Holiness in Assisi
