Enthusiastic welcomes and flowers for the Pope in Lore to, near Ancona on the adriatic seacoast, where there is one of Italy's most important shrines dedicated to the Virgin Mary. In Assisi Pope John prayed over the saint's tomb in the Basilica of St. Francis, on the feast day of the saint. His Holiness reached Rome tonight at 10.30 p.m
