Oct. 08, 1965 - The trial against the monks-smuggler was held today at Velletri, a little town 40 km from Rome. The fact: last may was revealed a smuggling of cigarettes. The smugglers had the base and the deposit in a convent of the capuchin friars. The inquirings arrested two monks, two railway-men and two smugglers. Today, at the beginning of the trial, only a monk appeared before the judge. He is father Angelo Corsi, and the superior of the convent, father Milano also he incriminated, will be judged in contumacy because he do not want appeared before the judge.
