Bible - Cardinals - Churches - Monks - Nuns

Jun. 06, 1965 - Archbishop Rides on Footplate. The Archbishop of York, Dr. Donald Coggan, yesterday bought a first class ticket to London, then traveled in the driver's cab of the 2, 000 H.P. diesel. Dr. Coggan, said, after arriving at King's Cross Station in London, I must admit it is something I have alwanted to do. I like to find out how other people work. I have been down coal mines, round a brewery, a shipyard and many different kinds of factories. I do not believe that bishops should be confirmed to their episcopal duties. I think the Church should interest itself as much in engine drivers as cathedrals'.
