Jun. 06, 1966 - American Evangelist Billy Graham is mobbed by 2, 000 - strong crowd when he visited London's Soho.: American Evagelist Billy Graham set out last night to lead the moral army into what used to be called the teaming hell hole of sinful decay Soho. Near a strip - club advertising the spectacle of girls naked as they dance he climbed on to the roof of a car to address the crowd and invite them to his Earl's Court crusade. His speech lasted only a few minutes when he climbed down from the car and went home. Photo shows Billy Graham addresses the crowd from the roof of a car in Soho but he gave up after a few minutes and went home
