May 05, 1967 - Reconciliation church in Dachau inaugurated: On the site of the former concentration camp Dachau, a new reconciliation church was inaugurated on April 30 by the council chairman of the evangelical church. The church was built by the evangelical church in Germany, together with evangelical christian people of other countries of the east and west, in remembrance of the victims of the national socialism. It was given to the protection of the Bavarian district church by the vice council chairman, Bishop D. scharf.
