Feb. 02, 1967 - Ex-Priest Weds: Mr Charles Davis, 43, the former Roman Catholic Priest who was professor of Theology at Heythrop College Oxford-but has now been elected to a visiting fellowship at Clare College, Cambridge - was married this afternoon to Miss Florence Henderson, 36, a former Roman Catholic, and who is American, at all Saints Haslingfield, near Cambridge, the village's the village's Anglican Parish Church. Mr. Davis renounced his priesthood and left the church just before he was to go to Rome to take part in unity talks between the Anglican and Roman Catholic Churches.
