Mar. 03, 1969 - Blowing in the first day of spring : The annual ceremony of the Spring Equinox was celebrated by members of the Druid Order in the stone-paved garden beside All-Hallows Church, at Tower Hill, today. This traditional ceremony dates back to per-history antiquity and recognizes in spring the embodied power that breathes life again into the mouth of dead winter. It is the Druids belief that one way in which the ancients laid the foundations for our life was by the establishment of the idea of positive peace.
