Jul. 21, 1980 - The Swami Goes By Jumbo: Monsoon -type weather setting the sene yesterday as a caparisoned Elephant carried His Divine Holiness Shree Pramukh Swamy in procession on a four-mile journey from Alpert on High School sports ground to Meadow Garth, Neaden, North-West London, where he consecrated the site for the largest Hindu temple outside India. The site of the temple, . costing ?million, is a disused factory. The Consecration marked the climax of the Hindu leader's 40-day visit.
