Apr. 17 A Novelty, Called Alu-Futur-Rad The German Kaufhof (a warehouse-group) is going to sell a novel type of an everyday-bicycle. It is made of a special aluminium (hitherto only used for racing bicycles) and is therefore absolutely stainless and extremely light (only 13 kilograms). Because of material, construction and way of processing the Kaufhof is able to give a guarantee up to the year 2000, so that even the buyers grandchilds will be able to ride it. The price is DM 480.
