Sep. 09, 1967 - Specially-built track for the skol six-day cycle race. One of the biggest sporting events taking place in Britain this year is the Skol Six-day cycle race, being held at Earl's Court, London, from the 18th - 23rd. September. During this time 12 teams, consisting of 24 to British and International professional racing eyelists will battle it out on a specially -built indoor track costing £30, 000. There was a press preview today, when the track was tried out for the first time, by many of the top British and continental riders.
