Feb. 02, 1979 - Around the World in 79 days by Biking Viking': The Lord Mayor of London Sir Kenneth Cork, launched The Biking Viking, outside the Mansion House this evening They are 21-year-old Norwegian girl, Marit Voster, and her 25-year-old blind passenger, Tore Naerland, on their Around the World in 79 days on a bicycle built for two'. They will take the same routs as Phineas Fogg in Jules Verne's Around the World in 80 days. Their Journey will take them through France. Italy, Egypt, India, China, Japan and the USA, and they hope that one handcapped cyclist from each country they will visit will cycle with them through his own country.
