Dec. 12, 1971 - American Gospel singer Billy Preston to appear in Munich. Munich impresario Carl Mohner who organises a top society ball during the carnival season on 15th January 1972, has had as assurance from Billy Preston, America's gospel singer no.1, that in spite of injuries sustained due to a recent fall off a horse he would be fit to appear for his hit That's The Way God Planned It and for his collaboration with the Beatles and Ray Charles by some already considered as his successor has never been to West Germany before. Afterwards he will appear at the Midem Festival in Cannes. His latest LP which reveals him as a remarkable singer as well as an accomplished instrumentalist, will shortly be released here
