Birgit Bergen, German actress, to star in James Bond film

Oct. 03, 1968 - The German BB, as Munich actress Birgit Bergen (25) is called, is off on her way to a great career in the best way. The start to that happened when manager Olga Horsting recently came to Munich with her protege, original BB Brigitte Bardot, for the world premiere of the western film Shalako'. Birgit took a contract on the spot. The saucy girl is in solid hands with Madame Horsting, and she has already auditioned for a role in a James Bond film. But her manager isn't the only one influencing Birgit - her old friend and house photographer Philip d'Exea has had the pleasure of knowing her since his visit to Munich
