The trial against the Panther Gang which is expected to be a sensation began before the trial by jury of Landgericht (district court) Munich I, on Monday (May 11th). The 22 years old chief of the gang, Hugo Werner, 22 years old Richard Schaider and the other members of the gang are accused with having committed three murders, with attempted murder, heavy robbery and extortion.
