May 05, 1957 - Annual Relay Punt Race.. Felicity misses the boat. During the fifth annual relay punt race between the Cambridge University Damper's Club and the Oxford University Club, Felicity Willis, of Newman College, Cambridge, passenger, in the Cambridge punt, and Miss Arline Winter, Oxford's passenger, had to jump into each others punt. Cambridge won for the third year running despite the fact that Felicity once missed the punt altogether and went feet first into the river.
