While that famous lone yachtsman, Sir Francis Chichester is approaching the most hazardous part of his voyage, the treacherous waters which surround Cape Horn, his son Giles (20) rows in less troublesome waters. Reading Geography at Christ Church, Oxford, Giles is himself a keen oarsman and stands a good chance to row for Oxford in 1968.
