Jan. 14, 1968 - 14-1-68 Alec Rose leaves Australia on the second half of his journey around the world in Lively Lady 60-year-old Alec Rose, a Portsmouth greengrocer, and the lone yachtsman who sailed his 32-feet ketch Lively Lady from Portsmouth to Melbourne, Australia, last December, set out today on his return voyage back to Portsmouth. It will be the same journey, by way of Cape Horn, that Sir Francis Chichester completed last year. The voyage is expected to take about 5 months.
