Clare Francis working on her 38 foot boat Robertson's Golly (sponsored by the British firm that produces Robertson's jams) which she will be sailing alone in the Royal Western /Observer Singlehanded Transatlantic Race. The race, which starts June 5, 1976 at Plymouth, England, and finishes at Newport, Rhode Island, may well be the last of its kind for safety factors
