Jan. 01, 1952 - Female helmsman: is Annaliese Teets. She navigates the Albert Friesike'. In 1932, she started her career as cabin-boy, and later she was declared an able-bodied seaman, and learned the art of navigation aboard a cutter. In 1943, she was awarded the A-5 diploma and was appointed captain of a Norwegian ship. Today, Annaliese Teetz is working on the same ship in her capacity as helmsman, where she had been hired as machinist, a few years ago
