Mar. 03, 1953 - Biggest passenger-ship from eastern zone flyed to western Berlin. The owner to the passenger-ship Deutschland (560 person) from the eastern Zone made a good trip last night. The ship should be expropriated by the Russians, so the family took the resolution to fly to western Berlin. They told the Easter police, they had to go to a shipyard at Plaue near Brandenburg to reparature the ship. And this has been half the way to western Berlin. With full speed they drove to Berlin. Vopos tried shoot with with pistols and karabiners to prevent that they reach western lakes, but the owners had made iron plates into the leader- house of the ship. So they came safely to western Berlin and are very happy that they made it. now they are resting at the pier of the western Berlin Tegeler Weg. The owner, Mister Winkler, left two other ships over there in the eastern Zone
